CLIMATE CHANGE IN CHILE

Welcome! 

After spending 5 weeks traveling across the country of Chile, I, Madi Heater, have compiled a list of some of the most significant climate changes, how the locals see these problems, and possible steps forward. From Patagonia to the Atacama Desert, Chile has an extremely wide diversity of environments, and therefore a lot of different climate related issues. While I would love to see all the actions I proposed put in place, the point of this website is really just to spread awareness for what is occurring all over the world. Whether we like it or not, the climate is changing and the signs of this can easily be seen.

One quick note before we get started:
​Climate change and global warming are not interchangeable terms. While the media might throw out one or the other, thinking they are the same, there is a major difference. Global warming is one of many effects of climate change.
